If you recall, a few weeks ago I was talking about bees...
Well, yesterday I had finished mowing the lawn, I was careful to avoid all the bees surrounding the pears that had fallen from the tree in my back yard.
As I was walking around
them...the bald faced hornet (yes, the very same type that bit my dad) decided to bite my ankle. You don't realize how big they are until you see them beside a yellow jacket. I quickly went inside and made a natural remedy. Since they can bite multiple times, I didn't have to worry about removing a stinger.
I thought I'd take the time to share what I did as it worked very well for me.Â
First, I put a
drop of good quality lavender essential oil on the bite. Then a piece of sliced onion.
Then I combined a little more sliced onion, minced garlic, raw honey with another 2 drops of lavender, let it sit for 5-10 minutes and then put the mixture on the bite, covered it with a waterproof bandaid/saran wrap and let it do it's magic.
So far, so good. Completely fine
morning...
